Our policy

We respond to valid notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) and similar laws. We may remove or disable access to content that we believe in good faith infringes copyright, and we may terminate repeat infringers where appropriate.

Submitting a DMCA takedown request

To report allegedly infringing content, send a written notice to our designated agent that includes all of the following:

  • Your contact information: full name, mailing address, phone number, and email.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed (e.g. title, author, registration number if any).
  • Identification of the material that you claim is infringing (e.g. URL, app screen, content description) so we can locate it.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Send the notice to the contact provided on our Technical Support page, with the subject line “DMCA Takedown Request.” Incomplete notices may not be processed.

Counter-notification

If you believe your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification that includes:

  • Your name, address, phone number, and email.
  • Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or if outside the U.S., any judicial district in which we may be found) and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the DMCA notice or their agent.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

We may forward counter-notifications to the original complainant. If the copyright owner does not file a court action, we may restore the content in accordance with the DMCA.

Misuse of the process

Knowingly materially misrepresenting that material is infringing may result in liability for damages (including costs and attorneys’ fees). We may document and share misrepresentations with relevant parties.
